Keener awakes

Keener decided that tonight was her night to stay up late.  She is such a good baby and goes to sleep so well, that the rare occasions when this happens, I usually indulge her.  I assume that she must need food or the attention.  Tonight it was both.  She drained her soymilk and sat in my lap while we read stories.  She loves the DK picture books.  She likes to point out the objects that she knows and say the word.  All little kids are "baby".  All foxes are "dog".  I did get her to say fox tonight, but it sounded a lot more like a word I do not wish for her to say.  So, maybe now I'll call all [former] foxes: "red dogs".    She is sweet to cuddle with and I am glad to have one baby to hold in my arms for a little while longer.
