Yesterday Elizabeth turned 10 (X in Roman numerals for you scholarly types!).  Wow!  A whole decade old.  It is hard to imagine that my little baby is 10.  It seems like yesterday that I was singing her songs and rocking my little baby.  Time is such a funny thing.  It crawls some days and it flies away on others.  How does it do that?

      It was a very special birthday for her because when I was 10 I got a special ring from my grandmother.  It was supposed to be given to my oldest daughter on her 10th birthday.  I was shocked a few months ago when I realized that the time had come to pass it on to my dear Elizabeth.   I was very glad to give it to her and look forward to seeing her wear it.
